About the Position:

We are seeking an Operations Manager to manage facilities and organizational logistics and work within an Infrastructure Team dedicated to making sure our talented staff have the space, tools, technologies, and systems to function effectively. This a great role for someone who is passionate about making systems work, is dedicated to excellent institutional functioning, can adapt quickly to changing circumstances, and wants to contribute their excellent project management skills and attention to detail to a fast-moving, quickly growing organization.

Primary Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will:

  • Manage facilities, including coordinating organizational insurance, supervising operations staff, working with colleagues to make sure key office equipment is in good working order;

  • Manage and coordinate administrative support provided to others in the organization, which might include logistic support for major organizational events, collaborating with a cohort of administrative assistants on systems and trainings, helping staff in their compliance with various organizational systems with trainings and direct support;

  • Develop systems and trainings for colleagues and support members of our network on best practices;

  • Manage a comprehensive hosting and fiscal sponsorship program including through transitions in administration;

  • Work with the Director of Systems and Administration on other organizational-wide systems and practices as needed, such as organizational-wide time tracking system.

Job Requirements

  • Preferably at least 6 years relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated commitment to social, racial and economic justice;

  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to be diplomatic and have discretion in dealings with others;

  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills;

  • Attention to detail as well as the big picture

  • Ability to work well independently and to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment;

  • Dedication to organizational excellence;

  • Problem-solving perspective.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. We have a generous benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 15 vacation days per year, 10 sick days per year, 12 paid holidays per year, and contributions to individuals’ 401K plans.
